About El Campanario

El Campanario ("The Bell Tower") is a luxury resort of apartments, penthouses and Villas. It is an oasis of tranquillity with landscaped tropical gardens, swimming pools, streams and water falls. The complex benefits from having 24 hour security guards and access is via remote controlled electric gates.

The El Campanario Country Club also offers bar and restaurant facilities for non-members, providing beautiful surrounding for you to enjoy your meal in.

The Costa del Sol region is renowned for its Golf courses, and El Campanario is perfectly located for easy access to a large number of some of the most prestigious courses.

The surrounding area

Just a short walk away is the 'Diana Commercial Centre' which has numerous local amenities such as supermarket, restaurants and bars for those that just want to stay put and relax. Alternatively Puerto Banus, San Pedro and Benahavis are all less than 10 minutes drive away offering a variety of excellent facilities for those that wish to explore a little further.

Famous the world over, the glamour marina of Puerto Banus with its rows of luxurious yachts, is one of those places where the rich and famous get together. A place to be seen, but also a wonderful place for people watching. Puerto Banus is characterised by super sleek yachts, limousines and sports cars, designer boutiques and a collection of some of the finest restaurants, bars and clubs.

San Pedro de Alcantara is a lively town steeped in history with archaeological sites dating back to the 1st century. It has a wide selection of traditional Spanish shops and restaurants.

Benahavis is a traditional Spanish white village set in the mountains which is locally renowned for its large selection of high quality restaurants. Also about a 5 minute drive away, it is a must for any trip to this area.

Gibraltar, Ronda, Casares, Estepona and Marbella are all also within easy driving distance of the apartment if you are looking to go further afield and explore some of what this area of Andalucia has to offer.

Over the last few years the Costa del Sol has undergone substantial development, and in nearly all areas of the Costa del Sol building work is still ongoing. Whilst this may be quite disruptive to some holiday makers, we have had no feedback of any disruption to people staying in El Campanario, and do not envisage that any building works in the vicinity of El Campanario and the surrounding area will be disruptive to your stay.
